인공위성의 궤도천이에 사용되는 부품이 홀추력기 이다. 제논 가스를 이온화하여 전기장을 이용하여 반력을 얻음으로써 추력이 발생한다. 홀추력기의 시스템 설계 및 복합재 고압 연료탱크의 개발로 국산화에 성공하였다.
